Here’s today’s 3-star review of Madeleine’s Petit Paris in Northvale. We decided to revisit Madeleine’s because it will be the last old-school French restaurant in Bergen when the Chef’s Table in Franklin Lakes closes. It’s in fine form, and may see a few interesting changes soon.
And speaking of family restaurants…Joe Diovisalvo, the son of Simply Vietnamese owner K.T. Tran, is now in charge of the kitchen at the Tenafly restaurant. Here’s his “Coffee with the Chef” interview from earlier this week. My favorite part – the strangest request he’s gotten from a diner.
